With the hundreds and thousands of books written by authors famous and striving, it is really difficult to get reviews. Of course you can pay for reviews, but somehow that doesn’t strike me as real reviews from real people. And, besides, there are all kinds of scams, semi-scams and wannabes out there promising to place their review of your book in front of thousands and, sometimes, millions of people. Even with the services with the best reputations you’ll find that an author will pay hundreds of dollars for a review only to find that the ‘reviewer’ only cut and paste the author’s synopsis as their review.
That’s why I want to highlight this review I got on Amazon for ‘Christmas Eve 2226’.
